The majority of families should change their air filter every month. A great reminder would be when you receive your electric bill. Since your air conditioner is usually the largest consumer of electricity in your home, the bill signals a good time to change the filter. If you have multiple kids and animals, we would suggest changing your filter every two weeks.

That would depend on if you are installing a new system or if you are adding it at a later date. (after the install has been completed) If you are adding the filter on install, we would suggest putting in a 4” filter box with a MERV 8 or 11 pleated filter. If the air conditioner has already been installed, we suggest a Dynamic Air Polarized Media Air Cleaner.
